Audio Visual Set Up - How to cast Macbook to an Epson Projector using iProjection

Purpose: The purpose of the guide is to show how to install iProjection on Macbook laptops.

Audience: This guide is for SD35 employees needing screen cast from their Macbook laptops.

Prerequisites

List any requirements (e.g., “You’ll need to be connected to the company network.”)

  • Macbook connected to district network
  • Epson Projector connected to network via Ethernet
Step-by-step Instructions

Step 1: Go to https://epson.com/support/wireless-projector-support  

  • Scroll down and select "Download for Mac"
  • Once the file downloads, open the installer "iProj_4.01.dmg"

Step 2: Connect Mac to Projector

      • Solution: Confirm that the projector supports screen sharing and that the necessary permissions are granted on your device. Restart both the projector and the app
