How to Manage HR Dispatch Call Queues

Overview

Purpose: This guide explains how to turn on/off the HR Dispatch CUPE/LTA Call Queues.

Audience: HR staff responsible for handling the dispatch calls.

Estimated time to complete: 5 minutes
 

Prerequisites

You must be a member of the HR Department assigned to handle dispatch calls.

Step-by-step Instructions

Step 1: Open Teams Settings

  • Select the three dots () in the top-right corner next to School District 35. Click Settings.
  • Alternatively, you can also press (CMD + ,) on Mac or (Ctrl + ,) on Windows to open Settings.


 

Step 2: Go to Calls Settings

  • Select Calls from the left-hand sidebar or type “Calls” in the search bar and select it.


Step 3: Select the Call Queue

  • Select the call queue you want to modify.  



Step 4: Turn Call Queue On or Off

  • Toggle "Receive calls from this queue"
  • On - You will receive calls
  • Off - You will not receive calls
  • The setting is enabled by default and you will receive calls from the queue.
  • Note: Turning this setting off only affects your individual availability and it does not disable the call queue for other users.
