What Is It?
Use this request if you need help with your Operating System of Software. Operating System or Software related Issues can range from:
- Slow/Sluggish performance or crashes
- Virus/Malware or Pop-ups
- Out of Date/Needs update
- Unable to run work required software
** Note: This service is exclusively to support of your computers Operating System and general software performance. For specific software support (ie. Email, Atrieve, MS Teams) and help us reduce ticket processing time, please go the Service Catalog to find the appropriate services.
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
You can request this service if you are experiencing Operating System or Software troubles with:
- Your district issued devices
- Your classroom devices (ie. iPads, PCs, MACs) that are district or school purchased
- Devices that were purchased with Remedy fund (we can only provide limited hardware support for Remedy purchased devices)
Where Can I Get It?
Base on your contact information and ticket detail. IT Department will do the following:
- Reach out remotely to assess the issue and make further recommendations.
- On-site technicians may stop by to assess the issue and make further recommendations if the issue requires physical repairs
- The technicians may take or recommend you to send the device back James Anderson Learning Centre for additional repairs
- The devices will be inspected, repaired (if needed) and be sent back to the school upon completion.
- The device may be written off if it is deemed irreparable due to costs, lack of available parts or obsolete technology
