Computing Hardware Issue Support

What Is It?

You can use this service if you are experiencing trouble with computing devices that are not working such as: not powering on, keep shutting down, broken screen, not able to charge, etc. These devices could be:

  1. Your district issued devices
  2. Your classroom devices (ie. iPads, PCs, MACs) that are district or school purchased
  3. Devices that were purchased with Remedy fund (we can only provide limited hardware support for Remedy purchased devices)

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

All Staff who are issued a district device or use school device to instruction/support purposes

Where Can I Get It?

Base on your contact information and ticket detail. IT Department will do the following:

  1. Reach out remotely to assess the issue and make further recommendations.
  2. On-site technicians may stop by to assess the issue and make further recommendations if the issue requires physical repairs
  3. The technicians may take or recommend you to send the device back James Anderson Learning Centre for hardware repairs
  4. The devices will be inspected, repaired (if needed) and be sent back to the school upon completion.
  5. The device may be written off if it is deemed irreparable due to costs, lack of available parts or obsolete technology
