Call Forwarding on a Teams desk phone

Overview

Purpose: Explain how to enable Call Forwarding on a desk phone

Audience: Staff

Prerequisites

Yealink or Polycom desk phone
 

Step-by-step Instructions

Step 1: Tap your profile picture or icon on the top left of the screen

Step 2: Tap on Setting

Step 3: Tap on Calling

 

Step 4: Tap on the Call Forwarding toggle to turn on

 

Step 5: Tap on Forward to

 

Step 7: Select Contact or number, then tap on New contact or number

 

Step 8: If you want to forward calls to an external number, enter the phone number. If you want to forward calls to a contact, enter the name and select it.

Step 9: Tap on the back arrow and Call forwarding will show enabled and Forward to will show a 1
 

 

Step 10 : To disable Call forwarding - Tap on Settings, Calling, then Call forward and disable using the toggle button
