Overview
Purpose: The purpose of this guide is to provide explanation of the green dot and exclamation mark symbol seen in the teacher grade input. I have added a screenshot of this symbol below.
Audience: MyEdBC users who enter grades.

Prerequisites
You will need a SD35 MyEdBC account and access to grade input.
Step-by-step Instructions
The green dot and exclamation mark in grade input simply indicates that the mark has been manually entered, rather than using the teacher gradebook to calculate a final mark.
This is the correct process for entering final grades in SD35, as we want the final grade to reflect where the student is in that moment in time.
Therefore, the symbol seen in grade input is correct and expected. This is not an error, and you have entered grades correctly.

Conclusion
The green dot and exclamation symbol seen in teacher grade input is expected and indicates that you have manually entered grades as instructed. There are no further actions required when you see this symbol.
