Overview
Purpose: This guide helps you to connect your device(s) to District Wi-Fi.
Audience: Phones: Android or iPhone
Laptops: Windows or MacOS

Step-by-step Instructions
Setting up Wi-Fi for Android phone
- Click on the Settings iconand then on Connections.
- Tap Wi-Fi, turn it ON, and select SD35-Secured OR SD35-Secured-Students.
- Enter the following information:
- Enter your Staff Employee ID or Student ID in the Identity field.
- Enter your Password in the Password field.
- Select User System Certificates option in the CA Certificate field.
- Enter sd35.bc.ca in the Domain field.
- Turn ON Auto ReConnect option.
- Tap Advanced or View More to get more options.
- Select MSCHAPV2 option in the Phase 2 Authentication field.
- Tap Connect button to proceed and ensure your device is connected to the wireless network.
Setting up Wi-Fi for iPhone
- Tap on the Settings icon and then on Wi-Fi.

Turn ON Wi-Fi option and select
SD35-Secured or
SD35-Secured-Students SSID.
Enter your
Employee ID or
Student ID and password then Tap on Join.

Tap on Trust.
Ensure your device is connected to the wireless network.

Setting up Wi-Fi for Windows
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon or the Globe icon located at the bottom right of the screen.


- Click on the right arrow on the Wi-Fi section which is on the top left side and select SD35-Secured SSID.
- Click on Connect button and ensure the SD35-Secured shows Connected, Secured.
- The Wi-Fi icon window should now show SD35-Secured.
Setting up Wi-Fi for MacOS
- Click on the Wireless icon at the upper right corner of your screen and select SD35-Secured SSID.

- Enter the following information:
- Enter your Employee ID in the Account Name field.
- Enter your password in the Password field.
- Checkmark Remember This Information option.

- Click on OK and ensure the SD35-Secured shows a color blue on its Wi-Fi icon.

Troubleshooting

Solution: Ensure you are using the correct ID and/or password.
