Audicine

The District has obtained a district-wide public performance movie license from Audio Cine Films (ACF). ACF issues public performance licenses that allow organizations to present copyrighted commercially available movies without infringing upon the Canadian Copyright Act. ACF offers public performance licenses that allow us to present commercially available movies in public while respecting the Canadian Copyright Act.

Purpose: Using Audio Ciné Films Inc.

Google Chrome

Step 1: Open Chrome

• Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner.

• Scroll down and click “Settings.”

Step 2: Disable Hardware Acceleration

• In the Settings page, scroll down and click “System” on the left sidebar.

• Find the option “Use hardware acceleration when available.”

• Toggle it OFF.

• Click “Relaunch” to apply the changes.

 

Microsoft Edge

Step 1: Open Microsoft Edge

• Launch Microsoft Edge on your computer.

Step 2: Open Settings

• Click the three horizontal dots (...) in the top-right corner of the browser window.

• From the dropdown menu, select Settings.

Step 3: Go to System Settings

• In the left-hand sidebar of the Settings page, click on System and performance.

Step 4: Toggle Hardware Acceleration

• Find the option labeled Use graphics acceleration when available.

• To enable it, make sure the switch is turned on.

• To disable it, turn the switch off.

• After changing the setting, click Restart or Relaunch if prompted, to apply the changes.
