MyEdBC Trouble Logging In

Overview

Purpose: Assist in troubleshooting common MyEdBC login issues.

Audience: This guide is for all MyEdBC users.

Estimated time to complete: 10 minutes

Prerequisites

You need a MyEdBC Account with Langley School District. You need to know your login ID and password. 
 

Step-by-step Instructions

It is recommended that all users use Chrome to login to MyEdBC, as Chrome tends to integrate with MyEdBC better.

Clear Cache

Step 1: 

  • Open Chrome and click the three dots (more) in the top right corner

Step 2: 

  • Select "Delete browsing data..."

Step 3: 

  • Choose the time range "All time". Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Caches images and files"

Step 4: 

  • Click "Delete data"

Disable Pop-Up Blocker

Step 1: 

  • Open Chrome and click the three dots (more) in the top right corner

Step 2: 

  • Select "Settings"

Step 3: 

  • Select "Privacy and security"

Step 4: 

  • Select "Site settings"

Step 5: 

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page. Select "Pop-ups and redirects"

Step 6: 

  • Select "Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects

Login Link Issue

Some of our users have experienced issues with logging in using a bookmarked link. We recommend logging in using the following process. 

Step 1: 

  • Navigate to MyEducationBC.info site using the following link: MyEd Info Site

Step 2: 

  • Select "MyEducation BC Login" 

Step 3: 

  • Login using your SD35 credentials
