Audio Visual Set Up - How to cast a Windows Laptop to an Epson Projector using iProjection

Overview

Purpose: Install and use iProjection app to connect a Windows PC to an Epson projector.

Audience: This guide is for SD35 employees needing screen cast from their Windows laptops.

Estimated time to complete: 5 minutes
 

Prerequisites
  • Windows Laptop connected to district network
  • Epson Projector connected to network via Ethernet
Step-by-step Instructions

Step 1: Open https://epson.com/support/wireless-projector-support and click on Download for Windows     Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

 

Step 2: Go to the Downloads folder and open the iProj_4 installer file and then click OK to continue.

 

Step 3: Click on Next to install the iProjection app.

 

Step 4: Click Yes in the License Agreement page

 

Step 5: Select Standard Edition and then click Next

 

Step 6: When installation is complete click on Finish

 

Step 7: Now open the iProjection app from the Windows button click on search, then look under Recent and open the Epson iProjection app

 

Step 8: [Only on first time using iProjection app] When privacy statement opens click on Agree and then select Decline when you get the Usage Survey popup.

 

Step 9:  Select Advanced connection mode and then click OK 

Step 10: If you get a popup saying unable to search for projectors, click Yes so the app will be allowed to connect.

Step 6: If you get a popup asking if you want to allow this app to make changes to your device, click Yes

Step 7: Click Manual Search on the left navigation panel

  • Enter the IP address of the projector
  • Select the projector in the list and register

Step 6: Enter the Projector Keyword and Connect

Step 6: Select the Cast Screen button to display your screen on the projector
