Overview
Purpose: This guide explains how to associate your SD35 Staff ID card with Xerox Printers.
Audience: This guide is for SD35 staff members
- Who need to link their ID card to access printing, scanning, and device functions.
- Who encounter a “Card Not Known” message when using their ID card.

Prerequisites
- Your SD35 Staff ID card (this card must be the card you use for Door Access to enter the building's lock door).
- Your login credentials (Employee number and password).
Note: Do not enter your Papercut PIN Number
Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1: Swipe Your ID Card
- Swipe your SD35 Staff ID card at the Xerox device.

Step 2: Card Not Known
- A message will appear stating the card is not known and prompting you to associate it with your account.

Step 3: Enter Username
- Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your employee number.

Step 4: Enter Password
- Enter your password to authenticate your account (this is the password you use for your District Email)
Note: Do not enter your Papercut PIN Number

Step 5: Confirmation
- A message will confirm that your card has been successfully associated with your account.

Step 6: Access Main Menu
- After login, you will see options such as Print Release, Access Device, and Scan.

Troubleshooting
- Ensure your username (Employee Number) and password (District Email account password) are entered correctly.
