How to re-install Microsoft Office Application

Overview

Purpose: The purpose of the guide is to show how to resolve issues encountered with Microsoft Office Applications. Some examples are "Word is not working", "One Drive is not syncing" etc.

Audience: SD35 Staff

Prerequisites
  • Connected to SD35 Network

  • Laptop

  • Office 365 License A3 or A5

  • District Account

Step-by-step Instructions

Step 1: Sign into https://m365.cloud.microsoft/  with district account

Step 2: Navigate to Home of left navigation bar and go to Install and more > Microsoft 365 apps

Step 3: Install Office

  • Follow the installation process indicated by the installer

Troubleshooting
  • How do I know if I have O365 A3 or A5 licensed?

    • If you do not access O365 through the browser to do work then you are either A3 or A5.

  • What if I still have issues after reinstalling Office?

    • If problems persist, please contact the SD35 IT Help Desk for further assistance.
